Sounds good! but dont we already have the mew, and correct me if im wrong but isnt it chokipeta? Although you could be making the trainer from that picture.... that would be cool :rolleyes:

Yeah, there's a Mew papercraft available, but it's not Chokipeta. The nobody has the Chokipeta one.

That would look awesome!! Is it gonna be like the 8-bit mario papercraft glued to a background to make it look like its popping out?

i thought about this a lot, and i would just be a huge jerk if i said no! :yes:

as much as i would like to win, it is more important that there are a lot of contest entries so people can have a fun time building the crafts, i think. so i must say go ahead! it would be an absolute shame to discard what you started just because i posted what i was going to do first!

oh and i'll post what i have done so far later in the day.

here's what a have so far:

you can kind of envision the rest, the trainer being the second highest elevation (after the text box) and mew being in the background. i hope it turns out looking cool, i'm pretty excited about this one. i didn't however realize the difficulty of remaking everything pixel by pixel! that text box took a long time!

you're right, i was doing that for a retro feel, but i'm gonna change it. the pixely characters will be retro enough. it comes out really weird in pepakura that way, sadly.

that's a cool idea! i could make it an attachment, so people can decide whether they want to build it with or without the border.
